Whereas I agree with scaliwag and ne'erdowell, only a hockeypuck would put fliberdigibbet in as an insult. It is more of a descriptive term that indicates a personality type (much like the one possessed by the originator of TCOJ blog). Slugabout is insulting noun that is due for a comeback, however.
