Ok. I realize this is way off the topic, but since I don't have my own blog, I thought this was an ok place to vent. Why in the world would a group, with 50 children, go to the Meramec River without a trained swimmer/lifeguard. The fact that non-swimmers jumped in to save another non-swimmer is alarming. Shame on the Joyce Meyers Ministries. She's so worried about raising money to reach more people with the word of god, how about protecting some of god's people. This is a tragedy and one that could have been easily avoided if someone had a brain. This incident should send a chill through every youth-oriented program, don't skimp out. Basically they sent kids in a land mine field and said watch your step.
I'm an ex-pamphleteer turned blogger who provides tightly-focused niche coverage of movies, TV, politics and kittens. I don't discrimate against people based on race, religion, sexual preference or your level of stupidity. Occassionally, I also blog on sports, history, Britney Spears and Abe Lincoln. My lover's name is Wally, and although he seems a little embarassed by this blog, he never really says so when he's sober.
