A friend of mine who lives out of town, whom I have known since I was 16 years old, turned 40 this weekend. Here's a big Happy Birthday shoutout to him.Someone else in my life, the person ultimately responsible for this blog because she brought me into this world 39 years ago, is almost double this age. She will turn 80 next year.
She told me she got lost on the shopping center parking lot the other day. Five minutes later, she told me the same story again.
